The delay is random each round, so guessing won't help.
How does it work?
The green screen is delayed by a random 1.2–3.5 seconds each round, so you cannot learn the rhythm and pre-click. What is measured is the time from the visual signal reaching your eye to your finger hitting the button; a typical healthy adult lands in the 200–300 ms band.
